Jerel Olson married to his wife Mistie for almost 30 years. They have three sons Jered (25), Kaeden (22) and Xane (18).

Jerel has been in ministry since 1993. He has served in Virginia , North Caroline, and Tennessee. He has served in South Florida since 2013 and here at Thrive Community Church since 2018.

He enjoys traveling with Mistie, and loves waterfall hikes. He is a frustrated Dallas Cowboys fan and loves all things CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien. He enjoys sci-fi movies and a part time dabbler in review movies.

While trying to pick out on singular favorite verse was hard, however the one that sticks out most now is Romans 11:36.

"For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen"
