Barbara Dyshuk is a native Floridian from Miami.  She’s been living in Boynton Beach since 2010 with her husband, retired Pastor, Bob Dyshuk.  The Dyshuks have been married for 52 years and have 4 grown children and eight granddaughters.  Barbara has been involved in Preschool Ministry in a variety of roles and locations for more than 45 years.  

At Thrive Community Church, Barbara works with parents and volunteers to ensure that preschoolers (babies through five-year-olds) are cared for and taught in a loving, welcoming and safe environment.  Realizing that we have few precious hours with these young children each week and that these are very foundational years of development, Barbara works to ensure that preschoolers are learning about God, Jesus and the Bible every time there’s an opportunity at church. 

Barbara’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” 

Barbara’s hobbies include crafting, baking and playing the piano.
