Cherly Salas serves as the Thrive Elementary Director at Thrive Community Church, where she works with elementary-aged children to help them grow in their knowledge and love of God.

Cherly and her family began attending Thrive in April 2024, and she has been passionate about creating a fun, faith-filled environment where kids can experience the joy of learning about Jesus.

She has been married to her husband, Omar, for nine years, and together they are raising two wonderful daughters.

Cherly enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, kayaking, doing word searches, and enjoying the outdoors.

Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6–7:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
